Meteors have signed defenceman Tyson Zimmerman to a GOJHL Standard Player Agreement.
Zimmerman, 17, played the last two seasons at Fort Erie International Academy (FEIA). He made his Fort Erie Meteor debut on January 25th, 2024 in a 5-1 victory in which he recorded an assist.
A native of Fort Erie, ON, Zimmerman is a third generation Fort Erie junior hockey player. His father Dale Zimmerman played 142 games for the Meteors during the 1989-1990 season. His grandfather Lynn Zimmerman played junior hockey in Fort Erie pre-dating the Meteors before playing 12 seasons in professional hockey.
